Basque State Towns Story
I. On the Dawn of Time
Once the ice ages receded and the 1st human teams roamed the humid valleys with the Cantabrian Sea, the lands we now call Euskal Herria have been already a refuge. Inside the caves of Santimamiñe, Ekain, Isturitz, and Aitzbitarte, anonymous fingers left bison, horses, and symbols that still manage to resonate now.
They were being hunter-gatherer peoples, tailored to rugged mountains, swift rivers, and coasts full of fish.

III. Concerning Empires: The Early Center Ages
After the tumble of Rome, these lands lay amongst two worlds: the Frankish and also the Visigothic.
During this time, a reputation emerged that will resonate for hundreds of years: Vasconia.
• In Navarre, the Vascones arranged themselves all around Pamplona.
